Membership

Join the network raising the standard
of yacht brokerage

AYBA is a vetted community of professional brokers who list together, sell together, and hold each other to a shared code of practice. Membership is open to reputable brokers across Australasia, by application.

Why join

What membership gives you

Built for working brokers. The value is practical: more ways to sell, a network you can trust, and a credential clients recognise.

01

A co-brokerage network

List once and reach every member. When another AYBA broker sells your listing, the commission is shared evenly, turning competitors into a sales force working on your boats.

02

Sell faster, together

Collaboration means the right buyer finds the right boat sooner. Fewer stale listings, cleaner deals, and a wider pool of qualified buyers across the region.

03

Protected commissions

A united, professional membership keeps rates where they should be, and keeps bargain-basement operators from dragging the whole market down on high-value boats.

04

A vetted, trusted circle

Membership is by application and review. You deal with brokers who won’t go behind your back mid-deal: people of repute who do business the right way.

05

Broker-friendly listing tools

Pull clean, brand-ready listing data and downloadable brochures/PDFs you can push straight to your database. No double-handling of information. (On the roadmap.)

06

Standing & a voice

A directory listing on ayba.com.au, the AYBA credential clients trust, and a genuine say in the standards and contracts that shape the profession.

The big idea

One central place for brokers to work together.

Today a listing sits with one broker. On the AYBA platform, your listing is visible to the whole trusted network, and when a fellow member brings the buyer, you split the commission fairly instead of losing the deal entirely.

More eyes on every boat. More boats you can sell. A stronger, cleaner market for everyone in it.

Who can join

  • Established, practising yacht or boat sales brokers (individuals and firms).
  • A track record of professional, ethical dealing: good standing in the industry.
  • Willingness to operate to the AYBA Code of Practice, including proper handling of client deposits.
  • Support of existing members or referees, where required, as the network grows.
  • Commitment to fair co-brokerage conduct: no cutting other members out of a deal.

Every application is reviewed. AYBA is deliberately selective. The value of membership is that clients and fellow brokers can trust the badge.
